“ We had breakfast that felt more like brunch on a weekend in this place. We felt attracted by the place's historic vibe, as it is not only placed in Karl-Marx-Alle, but the decoration and atmosphere are preserved from the DDR times. It even has some explanations about how the avenue was built and how the apartments in it were. That said, the breakfast was excellent. Large in size, tasty and well prepared. The service was super nice and we really enjoyed our breakfast there. I hope when we come back it stays the same. ”

“ Where else in the world can you go to a cafe that doubles up as a museum that hosts regular monthly events? As their website indicates, Café Sybille was first opened in 1953 under the name "Milchtrinkhalle" and was really popular since day one. We went for coffee, cake, ice cream and a look around while my father was visiting. I would highly recommend this cafe as a perfect place to bring international guests and visiting friends / family. The service was good. I've taken one point off for the menu not being up-to-date and in need of a reprint. ”
